Scaffold, access towers or a crane are priced separately if the job needs them, and building control fees, where a job needs them, are shown as their own line.
Where our fitters travel
Distance is rarely the deciding factor. A roof in Bridgwater, 9 miles from Taunton, gets the same survey, the same written quote and the same fitting process as one in TA1, TA2 and TA3. What changes the price is the job itself: size of unit, roof type, access and lifting. Burnham-on-Sea, around 16 miles out, is treated the same way.

From arrival to clean-up
The fitters measure twice before cutting: the opening, the rooflight's kerb size and the finished roof level. The kerb is built, packed level or to the maker's fall, insulated and weathered into the roof covering. You are left with an upstand ready for the rooflight, and a note of the sizes it was built to.
Do you need permission in Taunton?

How does payment work?
Payment terms are set out on your written quote before you accept it. Depending on the job, that may mean a deposit, stage payments for larger work, or payment on completion.
