This website, rooflightinstallers.co.uk, is operated by S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG). S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925, Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, including enquiries, guide price tool answers, chat messages and analytics. When you go ahead with a quote, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller for your quote, contract and job records. Both companies are part of the S&K Group. What we collect and why

Who we share it with
S&K Group Holdings Ltd passes your enquiry to S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, a separate controller, so it can quote (legitimate interests); S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd then uses it to take steps before a contract at your request. Your enquiry is also shared with the fitting team who surveys, quotes for or carries out your job; they act for S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd and only use it for your job. We also use service providers who process data for us: Netlify (website hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery to our inbox), Tawk.to (live chat), Google (analytics, if you consent and once it is switched on) and our email provider. We don't sell your data or pass it to other businesses for their own marketing.
International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, chat transcripts and WhatsApp messages about jobs that don't go ahead are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Customer and job records are kept for six years after the job ends, for tax, guarantee and legal-claim reasons. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (use "Cookie settings" in the footer for cookies). Email info@rooflightinstallers.co.uk. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Marketing
We don't send marketing emails unless you have asked us to. Our forms do not sign you up to marketing.
